What you get

audit.json, audit.md and a prioritised tasks.md/tasks.json backlog with reproduction steps, DOM positions and fixes.

How it works

Three steps, one saved scan

  1. Point it at your exports

    Give it a folder of Screaming Frog CSV or XLSX exports. The analysis runs offline and sends no requests to the site.

  2. Run the 202-check registry

    The same registry scores every export. A check with no data is marked skipped with a reason, never counted as a pass.

  3. Get a prioritised backlog

    audit.json, audit.md and tasks.md/tasks.json list each issue with reproduction steps, link position and the fix.

Not for the analysis. Mode B reads exports you have already made in Screaming Frog and makes no requests to the site. You need Screaming Frog and a licence only if you want Mode A, where SpiderHead drives the SF CLI to crawl.
It is marked skipped with the reason. It is never reported as a clean pass, so 0 problems always means the check ran.
No. It reads the exports and writes report files to the output folder you name. The suggested fixes are for you to apply.
audit.md lists the findings. tasks.md is the prioritised backlog, with reproduction steps, link positions and fixes for each issue.
Yes. Pass --fail-on critical (or warning) and the command returns a non-zero exit code when that severity is present.
